The GB phase 2 public consultation has closed

Our second phase of public consultation closed on 14 October 2016.

Over six weeks from Monday 5 September to Friday 14 October, local people, councils and other bodies were invited to give their views on potential routes for the high voltage underground direct current (DC) cables between the converter station and landfall sites as well as the design style options for the proposed converter station.

The project team will now carefully consider all the feedback received before deciding which of the route corridor options to take forward. We will also take into account peoples’ views on the potential appearance of the converter station when discussing a design style for the building with the local planning authority.
