Parish Council Forums

We appreciate that parish/town councils and their members are key grass roots representatives of the community.

And it is our intention to host Parish Council Forums at four convenient locations along our cable route, to ensure local members are kept updated on the project’s progress and establish a platform at which members can have open discussions with Viking Link representatives.

Viking Link has identified 33 parish and town councils located at the landfall site, along the cable route and close to the converter station, that will be invited to the Forums.

These Forums would typically have been held the morning after the local Community Liaison Group meetings, however, with the advent of Covid-19 this has not been possible. Once it is safe to do so, these will look to establish forums as intended.
