Viking Link Offshore Scheme submits its marine license applications

National Grid Viking Link (NGVL) and Energinet submitted marine license applications for the Viking Link Offshore Scheme to the following National Competent Authorities (NCAs) in all its territories:

• Denmark: Danish Energy Agency (Energistyrelsen).
• Great Britain: Marine Management Organisation (MMO).
• Germany: Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie, (BSH) which is the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency and the Landesamt für Bergbau, Energie und Geologie (LBEG) which is the State Authority for Mining, Energy and Geology. 
• The Netherlands: Ministry of Economic Affairs

The authorities will be undertaking a formal statutory consultation prior to a decision being taken on the marine license applications submitted by NGVL and Energinet.
